Im like a month old COD4 player so I havent got the chance to use all the sniper rifles freely yet, Ive only got up to the Dragonuv and I havent even used my own yet for some reason. So I want to know, what do you think is the best sniper WITHOUT stopping power? Is there a sniper rifle that can kill in one shot without stopping power?

M40 with ACOG is the best

well ppl say the Barret 50. Cal is one shot but the recoil and accuracy sucks, i would say the best is R700 becuz it has the same power and is more accurate then da Barret 50. Cal

no it doesnt all the time any of them can be one kill with stopping power or a shot above torso. m21 is the best

Well, since 4/5 of my classes have stopping power I thought that it was the cause of the 1 hit kills, I didnt know that there was a sniper that can kill in one hit without stopping power.

The Barrett with a chest shot or head shot can kill with one shot without stopping power and the R700 is less stable when aiming without holding your breath. The M40 is a better choice then the R700 just because it does about the same damage and is much more stable then an unmodified R700 due to the Marine Corps modifications.

Thanks, I was only asking which one can one shot kill cause I plan on using overkill on 1 of my classes a long with a sniper and if Im correct overkill takes the spot of stopping power. I might not even go through with it but thanks for the help.

Every single sniper can one shot kill without stopping power... the most consistant one is the Dragunov. It combines consistancy, accuracy, and is very easy to use!
