Yeah that took me forever, I mean obviously it seems longer because there's 10 more levels than cod4, AND in cod4, you got all the best weapons right at the beginning of each prestige, which made it pretty easy to rank up. I mean, you got the mp5, m16, m4, ak47, m40a3 and more all before level 11, it was ridiculous. In w@w, pretty much you just have the mp40 and thompson, most people going with the mp40. I pretty much played Search and Destroy 99.9% of the time, IMO its the fastest to rank up. I wouldn't snipe, because sniping is much harder in this game and theres nothing like acog to sight up faster. MGs suck at QCB, single-shots are OK but i would go with

MP40 round drum (or silencer if u prefer)
Tokarev TT-33 (magnum if you dont shoot too fast)
frag
Bomb Squad (or bettys if you stay back)
juggernaut (makes you unstoppable with mp40. stopping power is ok, but you wont need it with the round drum)
steady aim- hipfire all the way (use dead silence with the suppresor for a ninja class)

also LEARN TO DROPSHOT; dropshoting with the mp40 jug/steady aim is so hard to counter. you probably know how to already, but use it in w@w all the time with that setup. most ppl dont know wtf your doing haha.

Lol, all of that is true, im an amazing WaW sniper, and thats proably why i dont rank up quick, i go for long shot kills most of the time, i also think in WaW you get the attachment points way to fast, i had all my attachments done for every gun for about 20 levels before i got a new gun. it sucks how the guns are spread out.

yeah it does i hate how you dont get the PTRS until 57, i was obsessed with that gun for a while so i didnt prestige for a couple weeks lol. the attachments ARE really easy to get, so by level 14/15, i had my full mp40 arsenal minus my tokarev. yeah i sniped my whole first prestige. its fun and really satisfying when you get a long ptrs kill, not to mention collaterals, but its just not a fast way to rank up sadly. unfortunately, cod4, w@w, and mw2 favor other weapons over snipers. we have the toughest job :/

Hell yeah i know..when i started playing mw2 i thought the snipers looked like BS guns..i couldnt even snipe at first it was hard to get used to..

i think the snipers in mw2 are wayyy to underpowered. a barret with stopping power should always kills someone with one hit anywhere above the waist

hey guys, it's january 27, 2010 I have both version of COD4, PS3 and 360, is it possible that PS3 still have double XP cause I got 5 xp for a kills in domination on 360 and 10 for the same thing on PS3 ?

i honestly dont have any idea about xbox, but I played a couple games of cod4 last night on ps3 and it was still double xp.
