I have strange problem, please if somebody can help, me and my 6-7 friends play together on many servers, and we have no problems, everything is perfect, but when somebody of us host a game, because we want play alone, some friends can see server and play, but few friends can't see, we try to reinstall, update, and everything what's on ours minds, but they can't see the game... Please help??? :cry:

just have them connect through the console with the ip of the person hosting the game

well you can connect to a server through console by pressing the ~ key.. then you type /connect 1.1.1.1 (replace it with the hosts ip)

I am on cable provider, all friends from cable can see my server, friends with adsl and other cable company canot see my server, but, we can play on other servers together...

no error just numbers, 1 2 3 4... and conection timed out, cant see server at all

try "/connect 1.1.1.1:28960" replace the 1.1.1.1 with their ip

the type of ISP (internet service provider) doesn't make any diffrence, what you need to do is have them hit the ~ than type in connect and the ip address of your server if you don't know your ip than go to www.whatsmyipaddress.com and it should show you what it is. For example I have a server on my local network, when I have friends connect they connect like this

kick off multiplayer game
Go to Join
hit the ~
type in connect 74.87.87.145:28960 - (this would be your ip address that you got from www.whatsmyipaddress.com, port should be fine)
and than they get right in.
