I'm trying to find a way to restrict a certain attachment, the grenade launcher. My clan has decided to "remove" it from any Assault rifle there is.

I saw this thread: Call of Duty 4 Sample Config

And i tried use the command: set attach_allow_assault_gl "0" but didn't work, i was still able to use the gl. What commands should i use?

You have used the correct setting but i guess you are still playing it in "Stock" mode, the server will ignore config changes like that, you need to run it in ModWarfare Mode or use a 3rd Party mod like AWE4 or something...

I do want to keep have the server ranked with original content - but does the game see difference between "Stock" mode and ModWarfare? I want the server to be ranked and public.
