Default CoD4 Server problem behind router!

(Based on someone else's thread Server ip and the answers to it)

I tested the following config commands in the server config:

Code:
set net_ip "my.domain.com" // Set your servers IP address
set net_port "28960" // Set your port number
(Censored the domain, don't want any flooding atm)
Though it didn't help, I've a site (under construction) where I'm able to query the server information visible without a hitch through the domain, but joining the server issue is still the same.

I could set up DMZ to resolve this but at the same time, i need DMZ for my personal comp since some ports to several applications and games i use and play aren't listed nor found. And even if i do found ports to open i still need to restart the router which cuts the connection for the players as well TS and web.

Suggestions?

Apparently there never was a problem connection to my server, except for me who has the server on the same WAN IP (seems to be the problem). Some friends of mine were successfully connected to my server without a problem, although i have to connect to the server through LAN in order to participate.

This may be valuable information for others with the same issue as me, the thread may be locked or open for discussion about this.
