Can someone please tell me step by step what I need to do to get my linux server running. I have tried multiple times to get one running on my host and also on my laptop. I don't see it in the list ok... so I try and connect by IP and still nothing. I don't think the server is running correctly. Please someone take the time to write this up and it can become a sticky or something for everyone to see.


Also please include the configuration of the config files.
