Hello all. Just updated to patch 1.6 and all the servers have disppeared. In 1.5 my server count fell from almost 20,000 to 2300 but then I found out the 1.6 patch was released so figured that's where the servers went. I was wrong or I'm an idiot. Clicking 'join server" then "referesh list" and squat. I've got WinXP Pro, Pentium Dual Core 2.4G, NVidida 8500, my machine hasn't changed just the patch. Yes I did reboot. Any help is appreciated.

make sure the filters and source are ok, otherwise safe your profile, and reinstall.

Thank you I set the filters to default then "yes" and "all" with the same result. I also d/l the 1.6-1.7 patch and nothing still. I thought of reinstalling I was hoping there was another fix before I had to uninstall/reinstall.

I did forget a detail: I can create a server and it runs just fine. I was looking around in the new maps last night all by myself :-(

Okay I uninstalled and reinstalled, patched to v1.7. I can see a list generating "getting information on [number] servers" but I see squat on the server list. Filter is set to default.

Success! I reset the permissions in my firewall and there are servers! Granted, less than 1000 but they're there!

the same thing happened to me but the problem is that i cant uninstall it becoz i lost the cd
what do you mean you reset the permissions on you r firewall ? i have bitdefender and i dont know how to do it . it would be very helpfull if you could tell me what to do.

sometimes the firewall has to ask if the new information that is going through it is ok.

sry i totally forgot about the firewall, its not something i have a problem with.

well i think the firewall is ok but the servers are still not appearing .

I have BitDefender too. Open it, click "Settings" in the lower right corner, Click "Firewall" in the left menu, click the "Traffic" tab, then delete "iw3mp.exe"
Mine had three of those. I delted them and the servers reapepared. I was expecting to have to grant permission again but I didn't get a popup about it.
