I Have a Dell Xps400 and I recently factory restored after some adware problems. I reinstalled my COD and I copied my old profile from my old system into the directory, and everything worked fine I could access all v1.0 servers. I realized my patch was out of date, so I updated to v1.6. After i did that, no servers appeared on internet favs or local. If i bring up the console, and type /connect (IP), i can connect fine, even to the new maps and other 1.6 servers. I Am connected to the internet, and my copy is legit. My firewall isnt the problem since i turned it completely off.

what could be my problem? My video card is also fine, I have an Nvidia GeForce 8500 512mb.

I would really appreciate some help!

The "Local" server filter means LAN servers, aka servers that are on your home network so don't use that one if you want to play on the net.
If you reinstall you will not have all the servers that you added to favorites on the previous installation.
You SHOULD get servers on the "internet" setting though, but if you don't... hmm .. well probably some problems with the master server or something like that, I'd try again a little later on.

You could use a 3rd party server browser, such as the all seeing eye, and see if you can get server list from there.
