There is no real "default" config, but if your server is ranked any unnecesarry/illegal settings will be blocked by default anyways

Has anyone been able to get this config to work? What changes did you need to make to it as it crashes every time I try to use it.

Hi, why do I get this error message:

Uses this command: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +exec min.cfg"

What is the path to your min.cfg?

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\min.cfg
C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\min.cfg

The second one is the correct one. I made the mistake of thinking the "main" folder was the core folder of the program, but no, there is actually a folder named "main", which is where your config files should be.

Default Hardcore?
I'm kind of a n00b at this but how do you enable/disable hardcore or oldschool? I am trying to set up a free for all (DM) Hardcore server. Thanks!

P.S. If I am just doing free for all, do i still need the sections of the config that contain the maps with other gametypes? and as long as "set g_gametype" is dm i'm good right?

also, I get the Error message as well
