Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows how to get a dedicated server to support more than 32 players.
We have tried setting the following config options to have the server accept more than 32 players but still no go:

set sv_maxclients "48"

ui_maxclient "48"

executable target line:"C:\Program Files\ Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3mp.exe" +set dedicated 2 +set sv_maxclients 48 +set sv_punkbuster 1 +exec mp_server.cfg +map_rotate

Our box is a Quad Opteron Windows 2000 IIs server.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think u have to run it as a mod or something (unranked)

This question is in two parts.

1: I want to build a dedicated server for COD4. Could someone please advise me on the recommended build spec to achieve this.

2: Once I have built the server how do you manage to get it listed as a ranked server?

Forgive me if these are basic questions but I am clueless in this field but am so impressed with the game that I wish to go all the way.

Any advise will be greatly appreciated

not true, i see quite a few servers large than 32 players that are ranked

i need help with this also

I have tryed too set map time longer. No luck in getting map times to change.
If someone could piont me to the right way that would be sweet.

PS. I have been changing times in my server.cfg..

i see you have 60 as time limit if you want more just put it unlimited by changing the time limit to 0 like shown
