Default dedicated 1.5 needs cd?
I was able to run a stock 1.0 server in dedicated mode without the cd. Now, 1.5 is requiring the cd to run even in dedicated mode. That's a bit rough.

Is there a way to run a dedicated server without requiring the CD in tray?

Never heard of that, as far as i am aware you shouldnt need the CD to run dedicated, all the servers have - is a copy of the cod4 folder, then run it via the command line.

argh.

total stupid mistake on my part. I accidentally modified the iw3sp.exe shortcut, not the iw3mp.exe shortcut. ops:
