Hi all,

Recently I have got my friend to buy COD4 with the aim to play eachother etc. I have got him to patch his version to 1.4 like mine. We can both now see the same server names. I have 2 questions here;

1/ If i find a server with no players that I join, how do I get him to locate the same server easily? Sometimes there are a few servers named the same and we ended up being in different ones. lol.

2/ I would also like to set up my own server for myself and my friend to play on. I went to create new server, chose internet and a sort of 'dos' box came up. From here I am stumped. I have read I need to forward ports or something similar to get it to work. Is this correct?

Now I can follow instructions easily but am a bit of a newbie with regards to internet ports and forwardign them etc and have no idea where to start. Any guidance would really be appreciated as ive got as far as I can but now need some help.

Easiest way for you to get your mate to join the same server as you is to get the IP Address off the server once you are on it (use the TAB key, displayed at the bottom right) then get your mate to use the drop down console and type in:

If the server has the stock port of 28960 you dont have to type the port in
