need some help, quite recently, a friend of mine and me wanted to play against each other in our own server
so I started a new server and waited for him, but he couldn`t see my server
in fact, he had totally different servers on his list than I had, the same thing occured the other way around when he hosted a server, I couldn`t see his

what might be the problem? the only answer I could think of ,was that we could have different versions of cod4 on our PCs (1.4 patch and 1.5 patch)?

help guys, I want to finish y my friend in cod4

my cod4 don't work for me at all but as an experienced gamer its obvious you both need the same patch!!!
