Hey guys,
I purchased my copy of COD4 on Ebay, when I decided to purchase the map pack upgrade, i installed it but couldnt get it to work. I eventually discovered that the copy i brought was the american version not the EU version.
Does anyone have the American copy of the COD4 variety map pack or any contact details for Sony or Activision i could have as i have had no response yet.

While browsing their support page, I found this, so I think you're pretty much scre*** unless you buy a EU version off the game. Or you should create an american account to get into the american playstation store.

What you could do is create an American account and buy it through there via credit card. As you'd know, the map-pack is region locked so will only work in the country the game was bought from. There's a BLES number on the site, that indicates the country of origin etc.

PM me if you want more details on creating the new account. Otherwise, you'd have to either buy the game from your own country or share the map pack off a mate (can be downloaded up to 5-times free, again, PM me for details).
