I did the same as 7even the P90 was always my last gun and the Mp5 my first I tend to like SMG over the other guns

When I was leveling up to this 4th prestige, where I'm staying in, I just used the M16 and AK-47, because they are quite the best weapons to make much kills in S&D, and much kills in S&D means much XP

Now I am in my final prestige (4th), I did all challenges in the Assault category. I have unlocked Golden skin for AK-47. After that I did Red Tiger for some guns I just like to play with: R700, M40A3, MP5, AK-74u.

So for quickly leveling, I just recommend killing as much people as you can in Search & Destroy

I am quite surprised how some use all the guns to get the XP. Using the M14, MP44 or a shothun until you get 150 kills will take a while, and I for one would probably get more XP playing with guns I like and get kills and match bonus rather then the XP from weapon challenges.

and you should try those guns you mentioned, they all pack a punch if used in the right play style. M14 is a beast if you can shoot straight.

If you have Bandy and Overkill, do you get extra magazines on both guns?
