Hi

I play only headquarter matches and I have a question. What is the best gun out of the ones stated in the title for a headquarters match? All guns will have stopping power and steady aim no matter what. I have tried allthese guns and each seem to have their pro's and cons. So I would like to hear other peoples opinions. Feel free to lock this thread if necessary.

P.S: I am a run and gun type player so I am always trying to get/destroy the hq. So please do not say that the mp5 is bad on big maps like crossfire. I am always in the midst of the battle.

I should also say that the m4 carbine and the mp5 will be silenced and the ak47 will have plain iron sights.

I'd go MP5. I'm a run and gun kinda guy too, and I silence mine. I just picked up the game last night after 2 months absence, pwned with a silence MP5 playing FFA and S&D. HQ I always used it too. It's just my gun of choice. But I think it would be the best out of the three you listed.

MP5 is best HQ gun hands down, if you play correctly (not sit back and try to snipe) its a fast and accurate weapon for the constant close range battles. Its clip can take a group of 3 quicker than the P90. Being a SMG you have the speed to get back to the HQ faster. I use Extreme Conditioning instead of Steady Aim, those extra few seconds of running helps when it pops up right where the enemy spawns.



Being its a close topic. Does anyone know the exact time it takes to capture/destroy HQ? 15-20 seconds??? feels like forever when you're the only one in there.

The MP5 is what I chose. Simply because it is a small weapon with easy control and not much recoil. I think the M4 and AK47 are great, though.

Thank you everyone for your opinions. How does the mp5 compare with the p90? p90 has more bullets and faster fire rate but mp5 has more damage. What do you guys like best?

^^ i prefer the mp5, less recoil and greater damage, and stops you spraying. All the guns you mentioned originally i have each one set up in a class and i choose them depending on the map, i.e. mp5 wetwork/vacant, m4 - crash etc
