So Im using the first sniper rifle, I forget the name exactly. Ive got the ACOG on it. There are people right in front of me and im shootin 2 times, dead center of the body, and both shots miss. This isnt just once or twice, this happens alot. And from a long distance where do you measure up with the triangle? Do you use the tip of the triangle as your eye or just under the tip?
Im thinking I might have to go ACOG on my Barret so I can fire more than once. Does anyone else have the same problem with their ACOG Sniper?

Wow, that helps the M40A3 has a +5 damage with the ACOG on it, I like the ACOG on all snipers except for the R700.

and when lining up long shots i just put the middle of the triangle about chest height and normally kills in one shot

I do have good success usually, but at times I swear Im right on the body and my shots dont hit. I dont know If I shoot too quickly as I bring up the scope but the triangle is def on the body. I find that when Im set my hits count alot more.

I dont lag much, usually my opponent is moving towards me.

I always put my acog right around the middle of the chest. Its usually a shot to the neck or a HEADSHOT.

Yeah maybe it is, i have it sometimes were i think that must hit them and it doesnt, like you said maybe there too close or you shoot too early

Not on a M40 or R700. Put the triangles centre on the head, so right beneath the tip of the triangle. Also, try keeping on the move while aiming with the ACOG. Strafe or duck or jump or ...

I've noticed lately that I can stop the wobble only by countering it with the right PS3 Stick or mouse. It's not that easy.

Your center of aim is the inner part of the tip. You can even make across map headshots if you want. Just takes practise.

I've finally understood why they made this the last attachement for weapons that you can unlock.

ACOG = Headshotmagnet if you know how to use it.

Strange, to get a headshot with an acog, it needs to be placed on the head. With single shot weapons that is.
Easy test, go in a private match alone, aim at a wall, look where it hits. It will hit right under the tip of the triangle.
Are you standing still at the time you take the shot?

Ive found your connection has a lot to do with your hit detection. Anything 3 bars or less isnt going to be exactly accurate, and you can expect to miss sometimes.
