it all depends wat type of mode ur play ing like if u r playing hardcore then use silencer

I prefer RDS. The gun is already fairly quite. But, i can see how using the silencer on any SMG is a great idea.

I hope this isn't bumping this thread up too much, but with the silencer on the Mp5 does it actually reduce recoil or just muzzle flash? Also, with the silencer at what range does the lesser damage start to take effect versus the RDS. (A relation to a map distance would be appreciated)

A silencer on any gun will reduce the muzzle flash and recoil, to a point. To answer your second question, it takes about 400m before the silencer starts decreasing the range on the MP5. Most noticeable at around 600 metres though when it reaches its lowest point (from 40 damage down to 20 damage).

Sometimes I use silencers if I'm in the mood, but generally I gotta have the red dot to site up.

Maybe you'd think less of me for this, but I have a hard time being accurate with the iron sites. I've said it before and I'll say it again... While I generally make the top 3 and take the 1st a lot... I'm not the world's greatest player and definately not elite... so I gotta have that red dot

Thanks, I have been trying out the Mp5/Silencer and the Mp5/RDS and it seems I play better with the RDS. In reality the silencer combo should be better, but for some reason it doesn't really work for me. I am still trying to figure out which one is going to be best for me though...
