Sorry, but I completely disagree. Single player didn't prepare me at all for multiplayer. I beat the game and I still sucked. The reason being is that you don't know the maps at all when you start. Best way is to jump right into it, IMO.

for some people thats right but i thought it helped me

yeah i didn't even start the single player until about 2 months in. it would help with aiming and things though.
