Just wondering how much internet limit does CoD4 take up on the ps3....

Don't try to download any songs or large files while playing. It'll affect your game play more than the files. I don't know specific numbers of kbps it uses.

It would be similar to that of the PC, and as it is far easier to monitor bandwidth form a PC than your PS3 I would ask a PC gamer, or in the PC section

I took deejay quest's advice and asked one of the pc players in the pc section..

hope i get a answer, really need to know, so that i can equal out the time i play cod4,
while not finishing my limit!.

well i played mine for 8hrs strait then checked the download amount on my bt home hub and it was only 35mb so i aint moanin

PS3 usage is free, there will be a few stray kBs but they'll cost barely anything. A few cents here and there.

Best moment in CoD4: Me vs a whole team in SnD. There team had seven guys and i just marmalized them. When i saw that i earnt a chopper it just made me so damm happy.

Yeah it'll say 'pending'. Some games let the download continue while you are playing though, except not while you are in online mode.

PS3 USERShey ok if your playing normaly it doesnt waste much maybe like 2-3 megs per hour not alot and that with your headset so without it its less not quite sure but what i am sure about is
if you host a server (you need good internet to do so) this is aprox the amount wasted:
-cage match- 1-2 megs per game
-team tac- 3-5 megs per game
-6-12 man game eg. s&d and hq's - 8-12 meg per game
12-18 man game- gorund war- like 20-30 meg EACH GAME
hosting takes up a lot more usage then not hosting

yeh i have a pc and ps3.. i dont even bother playing when my partner or sis is on the net. coz im lucky to get 2 bars while playing if they are online...
but the download is that small its not worth worrying about.
