Sixaxis is purely a Sixaxis controller (the one you get with your PS3), Dual Shock 3 has Sixaxis AND the rumble feature (vibration). It's a bit heavier though.

no rumble, guess the dual shock 2 is what rumbled on my PS2 haha. does that interfer with precision sniping when a grenade goes off close to you? will it vibrate the crosshairs
Unfortunately the vibration feature isn't compatible with COD4 on PS3. Is for Xbox 360 though. Hopefully World at War will be compatible. If it is, you will always have the option of turning it off.

Ive encountered quite a few modded controllers on the PS3. I faced a dude who used a modded controller with his ak47. He was crazy, and kept denying it. But its very obvious. Also, just to point it out, you do not need a generic controller. You can mod the official sony ones. Whether it be six-axis, or dualshock. Ive seen a paperclip used, to mod a controller. Its ridiculous, and I am one that is against stupid things like this. Pathetic.

silent sniper- love your opinion and facts btw. i think they are the definition of noob in this game. it ruins the game and the player has no skill becasue they need to pay or make am odded controller just to get a decent amount of kills
what? modded controllers make automatic guns worse, if you use the mod button, all it does is make the rate of fire a little slower
No, it increases the fire rate, hence the name 'Rapid Fire'. Why would anyone mod their controller to make their shots slower??? I saw a PS3 modded controller yesterday with a 'Rapid Fire' button, pretty much like the 'Turbo' button on the Xbox 360 controllers.

Theres lots of people that use these controllers on ps3 and not so many on xbox, the reason being the modded controller for the ps3 is only 24.99 and the ones on xbox cost 99.99...big difference.
People who use modded controllers really are sad. Your life must become pretty empty if winning at a computer game with a bunch of complete strangers becomes so important that you actually go out of your way to cheat. Such people should be banned.
