M21 Noobish or not??

Now this is just my personal opinion and i am just wanting to see what everyone else thinks. I say the M21 is for noobs for a few reasons. Now dont get me wrong its a good sniper rifle but to me it takes very little skill to use, for instance if you miss your target or have bad aim you can still get off another 5-6 shots with hardly any recoil and if you need that many shots to kill an enemy your still a noob. I use all the bolt action sniper rifles and all the other semi-autos except for the M21 because its more of a challenge to me, you must choose your shots more carefully because you may not get another one, whereas on the M21 you can miss and still get your kill in most cases due to the low recoil. Me personaly i feel the true snipers that want to be the best would take more of a challenging sniper rifle like the R700, M40A3, 50 cal, or even the dragunov over the M21 what do you guys think?

I think the m21 is not a noob sniper because it takes more than 1 shot on regular mode. I prefer the m40a3 or the 50 cal. which takes 1 shot but to me, the m21 is actually more of a challenge. Also, most of the time I only get one shot at a target.

I agree it does take more that one shot on regular mode but if you go for the headshot like most snipers do it wont matter, i understand needing 2nd and even sometimes 3rd shot with the M21 but 6,7, and 8 shot in a row? sounds noobish to me.

Anyway. I like the M21 Its not as powerful but its good if their running because you can pull off more shots than the R700 seeing as its bolt action.

I don't think any of the sniper rifles are "noob". even though I hate that term, but thats another thread all together. It takes skill to use any sniper rifle imo. maybe it's just because I suck with them.

its a gun.. it has a different setup to the others. how you use it is up to you.

The way things work for me , is I use the R700 in normal because with stopping power its generally a 1 shot kill, the m21 is just irritating because of its low power, and you do hav to be like bang. bang bang, unless your going for headshots every single time, which isnt the easiest thing to do on fast moving targets.

In hardore tho, the m21 is an excellent weapon, because generally you will always go of course for the 1 shot, but should you miss, should your target unpredictably move slightly, you can get another round in immediately, this can happen and anyone pretending that they hit their intended target every time with the m40 or r700 is talking crap, the m21 in hardcore allows you to take down your target nearly always, it also allows for excellent mobile sniping because of the practically 0 downtime, it also allows for you to take out multiple targets at the same time, say a group of 3 targets is crossing open land, you can take them all down, could you do this with the m40 or r700 odds are against you.

So for hardcore the m21 is evil, in normal considering how you have to use it, it sucks, is it for noobs? i dont really think anyweapon should be considered for noobs, Its how they play that counts not what weapon they carry,

People that QQ about people using certain weapons I generally consider to be bitter about the fact that they got killed by something that they considered to be not a fair or skilled way to die, like a lucky shot or w/e

Thing is if the person is a total nub chances are they are going to run straight into a hail of fire most of the time anyway, or do some other totally absurd thing,

so my opinion is h8 the player not the gun, they all have their uses, and no weapon is without its merits

the m21 is a good gun and personally i dont class it as a sniper just a scoped assault rifle! lol

Everyone has made some great points, i could care less about players using the gun im not in any way saying that they should stop using the M21. Im simply saying that if you have to unload a whole clip to kill a enemy then you might as well just grab an assult rifle with an ACOG and that be the same. If your aim is that off i say noob using a sniper rifle.
