I think it must be random, on example is on showdown when its outside on the top and bottom of the map, sometimes it comes in horizontally but then others vertically, why vertically? pisses me off sometimes, work your nuts off to get one then it normally kills you because it came in at a stupid angle! lol

Problem i have is i wait for someone/me to call in a uav (which as we know has about 2/3 seconds delay) so i usually put air strike a bit futher away from enemy so hoping they will run into it but then you have to wait about another 3 seconds before airstrike hits, so by the time you have put scope on enemy on uav they are about 5/6 seconds away

In my case when the uav is in use i can tell where most of them are and the airsrike does the job.
