But you leave it open when you play, which is smart. Can you imagine how fast things could go wrong if you left it closed for a couple hours long gaming session???

And for blee4, I would also like to know when they are re-releasing it. Someone in this thread said maybe in the next day or two, but that's not concrete evidence so I don't really know. But either way, I'll wait and make sure the bugs are out before installing it and risking my PS3...

I hear you on the waiting a couple days to make sure the bugs are out. I'd go nuts if I didn't have cod4 for more than like a week.

I got the update the other day and seems to work fine.
The only problem i have found is that i have 2 controllers, one is on charge in a dock while i use one. I used to be able, by pressing PS button in game, to "turn off controller" when it was going flat and swapping over.
Now though that option isn't there, only "turn off system"
Does anyone else have this problem or is there a way round it.

ya know.. it would be sweet if when they re-issue this update, they include dual shock 3 capability! i bought one today and its awesome. the heavier feel is great.. kills feel even more satisfying now that i have something that feels nice and solid

It is free of charge thankfully so it's all good. All i gotta do is just wait a week.

I heard the re-release will be Wednesday (probably just a rumor, though). And I'm begging all of you who didn't get 2.4 yet, DON'T! List of problems since that update, just crossing my fingers for 2.41. =) So just wait it out people! (I don't think it's that great anyways.)

It is great. In game messaging FTW! really u can use voice changer and change mics and all that $h1T. So much more easier to read a message in a game then leave the game (get a loss) and realise that they sended u something retarted.

2.41 is out today. voice changer came months ago.
