does anybody recommend a good headset? my brother bought a gameskark that was a POS. the clip broke the 2nd day he was using it and really thats the only reason why i havent bought one so if anyone knows of a goodone please let me know.

Personally I have heard many people complain about the wireless head sets and such. I use nothing other then the regular one for X-Box, that works just fine for me, I mean.. I don't need anything fancy, besides things that look better usually are but break easier. I'm unsure for the PS3 head sets, but it you can get one similar to the X-box one try it out.

The one that comes with warhawk, bt125....forget the brand but its cheap and its good and you can just turn it on whenever you dont have to register it every time.

I actually mentioned this in another post, but Socom comes out in September and it comes with a Sony.....that's right Sony headset.

i just use the madcatz one. about 20 quid, easy to set up and had no probs with it.

Any headworks for the PS3, either its USB or not.
I use a HP headset, and it has those mic/sound plug ins for the PC.

All you have to do is get a USB adapter, logectic has some, works great.

So now any mic works.

I just use a plantronics bluetooth headset and it works well for me. You usually get about 3 hours solid use out of it and once you pair it to your PS, when you switch it on you connect straight away. Sound clarity is good too.

I got mine today, works great and looks cool too, sound is good with a light weight feel, you forget you have it on.

Wouldn't any BlueTooth hands free cell phone one be a really good option as it should have some of the best mic in it and great sound quality because it needs to be used for a phone?
