Rumor: SOCOM Confrontation bundle includes new Bluetooth headset




A supposedly leaked PowerPoint presentation revealed a new official Bluetooth headset for PS3. Set to launch in July/August, the headset would retail for $50 individually. More exciting, however, is SOCOM Confrontation bundle that's mentioned: both the game and headset would hit retail for $60.

The design of this rumored headset is an improvement over the one offered with Warhawk. However, don't get your hopes up quite yet. When asked for comment, a SCEA representative told us that "we have currently made no announcements for a new PS3 headset so any information is speculation and rumor."

The jabra BT125 DO NOT GET A MOTOROLA my friend had one and had nothing but problems turning it on

Mine is a Motorola headset and it's been acting up the past few days now. Don't buy one lol, I do have a question if no one minds answering? What's better, a USB headset or bluetooth (wireless)?

I have a giotek and never had any problems once you register you can turn on off whenever and charges very quickly.and its on promotion at play ans in a post on this thread.

It doesn't pick up background noise....it holds a charge well and the same cable that you charge your controller with will charge the headset...or the headset charger can be used to charge your controller.

The Jabra 5010 is a great headset, sliding boom mic for good clarity. £9.99 from play.com.
Not the most comfortable but the best one i've ever used, also can be paired to your mobile phone at the same time so you can easily switch between the two!
