lmao, I was thinking the exact same thing...

Some servers have more unforgiving punkbuster settings than others. It's probably only one value it doesn't like and only a few servers kick for it. You can read the error it shows and change that line or just go back to default config.

What you SHOULD have done is make a backup copy of your config before you loaded this one. But since you didn't you can just rename/delete the cfg file and then start the game. It will create a fresh default config for you. you'll have to redo your custom classes and controls.

baught the game to today. start playing... 5fps, making even single player un-playable

OK guys yeah i have downloaded this .cfg and put it into my player profile name and all of that i executed it and everything and then restarted and went into a server my fps is fine untill there is a freaking air strike then it goes down to like 10 fps and its really pissing me off.....

hey nova. to fix the airstrike problem all you gotta do is turn off ur antivirus while u play. i had same problem as you and now my game runs fine.

What do the lines on the lagometer represent?

Thanks for the info i used the first 2 paragraphs up to the untested settings and now i carnt keep up with myself i get a constant 125 fps and run like the wind its a wierd feeling having played the game at a plodders pace to suddenly be on fast forward

it doesnt seem to work, i type in /exec Nix.cfg , restart... nothing happens.

The Red spikes are when you lose a packet being sent, and if you see a lot of red that means that your registration is going to possibly be off

The first line displays the conjunction between your graphics card updating the frames in sync with the gameworld updates recieved from the server. Idealy, this should be a straight blue line. If it has bouncing yellow spikes then your display will stutter and be more difficult to view.

The second line shows if packets are being recieved from the server. This should be green. If it is yellow or red, try increasing your rate or try lowering your snaps. If this does not help, you may be on a bad server so try another. The height of the line is dependent on your current ping.
