Hey I was wondering if you guys could like help me out. Every time I try to install 1.6 it tells me "Setup has detected that you have a digitally distributed version of Call of Duty(R) 4 - Modern Warfare(TM) installed. Please refer to your original vendor for a patch compatible with your version of the game." Which I don't quite understand, because I downloaded it off infinity wards website. If you ca help please post on this or message me, Thanks!

Seems like the patch you try to download only works for Retail versions out of the box.
Where did you try getting the patch? Which Site?
Try downloading off IW's website. If you allready tried that, I don't know how to solve the problem.
