Hello im Battousai and my question is ok i have my profile in a different file b/c the update gave me problems

How do i delete the update so i can use my old profile im up to rank 50 and i dont wanna start over

I am no expert but, I dont think there is anyway to back out of any of the patch updates once installed..

the patch doesnt install onto you profile itsself.
simply back up the profile, in your my documents folder or something.

then reinstall the game, there is no way to go backwards except start from the fresh install.

then, add your profile back into the game folder when youve installed it again.

ok, i dont understand that. but i will explain what i meant

goto your cod4 folder
should be
my computer/Local disk/program files/activision/call of duty 4
from there goto
players > profiles > copy and paste just the profile folders to a different place i.e. my documents.

reinstall and add new profile in game.
go back to the place where you copied and pasted your profile folders from and delete theat new profile, and put your other files back into that folder, just like new.
now patch up to what you want.

Oh might ad, don't copy the backupfile into your COD4 folder, make a new folder like COD4Backup or something.
