Regarding your question. What is your favorite gun, I can give you every gun in the game and every possible perk combination that I enjoy using on them, but if you narrow it down to your favorite gun it may be easier for me to help you.

Well for the machine guns I'm guessing you mean the SAW, RPD, and M60.
For those guns I personally use the Red Dot Sight, Bandoleer, Stopping Power, and Martyrdom/Deep Impact (Change it up between the two perk 3's every now and then depending on game play.) If you can't handle recoils then sacrificing the Bandoleer for the grip is good, but then you have to deal with the iron sights, which isn't that hard, but for some players it is.
For the shotguns I grip, Stopping power, and Steady Aim. I shoulder my shotguns to aim unless it's point blank behind an enemy who has no idea I am behind him to get a head shot. Steady aim contributes to me not shouldering my gun when firing and 95% if not more of my kills are shot from the hip.
Well, thats my opinion and what I do, hope it helped!

it depends on the map.
i dont have a FFA class, because im comfortable using my classes on all gametypes.
if it were a FFA though, i would probably use an SMG with 3 frags, stopping power, steady aim i would put a RDS on that smg.
I don't usually have a FFA class either. I use the same for TDM, HQ, FFA, and such. The only time I change it up is usually for SnD, HC TDM, HC SnD.. but really, use whatever you're good at and then just pick good perks with that gun.
For the AK I'd say thats not a bad pick of perks, I'd rather Bandoleer instead of x3 Frags. Also Martyrdom instead of Deep Impact, but I do use both Martyrdom and Deep impact, Martyrdom more, but D.I gets the job done also on FFA I guess.

For LMGs though, if you can handle the iron sights easily, I'd go with the grip (especially on the M60) but it doesn't make much of a difference to be honest.
I like RDS on the SAW and RPD with Stopping Power or Double Tap or even Sleight of Hand.
If you like Shotties and LMGs (both don't really need Stopping Power) I suggest you try this:
M60/RPD/SAW RDS
M1014/W1200 RDS
Stun
Claymore x2
Overkill
Dead Silence
You can camp like a bitch and be pretty flexible when you move.
