I have helped out about 3 different people who have had this problem and the resolution is the same for all:

If your games hangs & disconnects the Master Server still sees your CD Key in use. To fix this you have to do the following:

1) Reboot your router/modem

2) Play COD4

This will reset you CD Key with the Master Server and you can play happily again...

I have made this a sticky so people will hopefully read this before posting...

hello!

i have made a non static server to play with my friend's,but never play with anyone yet.
i give my ip to a friend,and my server are show in their cod4 online..

but when he click to enter , it show " CD Key Code in use , try later"
he has reboot his moden, and pc, try to change the online cod4 key, and doesn't work.


this append only with my server.

do you know what to do?? it is my problem or his problem?

tryed to change the cd key??? its a copy then? go and buy the game like everyone else thats the problem its only £30 if you cant afford that get a job

If you want to play to COD4 and you can't because you have this damn of message you can easely search cracked server on the net (on google) just by typing "call of duty 4 cracked server" and you will find (at third link) a list of cracked server... If you don't find those list send me a e-mail (@foxtrott2@hotmail.fr) i will send you the list...

A cracked server is a good alternative if you don't have purchase the game or if it's purchase and you can't get connected...
