2v2 xbox 360 tournament (pole is for rules)

I would like to organize a 2v2 tournament for everyone. This time around it will be free to join and for bragging rights however if this goes well I will work out prizes and whatnot for any future tournaments. The pole is just for some of the rules in this tournament.

This is a tournament for those playing on the xbox 360. It will be a 2v2 Deathmatch. The rules are as follows and I'm only listing things that are changed from their default setting.

Score Limit: 500 Points
Friendly Fire: (Haven't decided yet, vote on it.
Respawn Delay: 5 Seconds
Allow KillCam: Disabled
Allow Air Support: (Also haven't decided yet, vote on it. will go with popular vote.)

Each match will be a best of 3. Each team gets to pick one map and their side and the tie breaker, if needed, will be posted by me. You may not pick the tiebreaker for your map. Tiebreaker and standings will be posted here.

There will be 1 match each week. Due to complicated schedules the two teams are to setup a time for their match that works for both teams. You may have your match anytime between Monday and Saturday of each week. Once your match is complete e-mail me the standings. I will require picture verification of the final scores for each round of a match. If you want a chance to win MVP get me a picture of the final scores while it is also displaying the player scores because I will be tracking individual player scores. Both teams are responsible for providing a picture of the final score.

In order to join this tournament you MUST e-mail me. My e-mail is jtremo@hotmail.com. If I do not receive an e-mail and you just respond here I will not add you to the bracket. Information I will need is your Team Name, Gamertags of both members, and the e-mail address you would like me to post with your team name.

This tournament will begin October 6th, 1 week from today.

If you have any questions E-mail me and I will respond promptly.

Question for Mods. Where would the best place be for me to post something like this since I plan to be doing it often.

Sounds good. I hope more people will join. I would like to have all the signups by saturday night so I can post the bracket early sunday.

Since only one team signed up I will be postponing this tourney 1 week. The kickoff date will now be October 13th.

friendly fire is gay becuase if you put on last stand a team mate can kill you before you die and that takes the kill away from the opposite team
i played a gamebattles team and they did that it was annoying as ****

Yea, I forgot to mention I've decided to turn friendly fire off. I am still used to games where you die and don't get to respawn so a death even if a team kill is really bad where cod4 doesn't really punish you for it. Someone brought the point to me that a team could just start team killing when they got in the lead and win because of it.

Yea better idea to keep it off. Well it needs to be a private match anyway so you can still put Hardcore on and turn FF off I think.
