i was just wondering why people feel the urge to make clans and recruit people to them, then dont go online, therefore wasting gamers playing time and energy.

Yeh i know, why do people just make useless clans for no reason, it's not like they are going to contribute within the clan, maybe they just want to waste people's time...

i know what you mean im always gettin msgs from people ta join there clan but then your here there clanmembers say to them "wow your actualy online" lol i started my own clan and atleast i play once a day aswell as my clan members

Depends, I have seen alot of clans that are active and alot of clans that are just to be there. Personally, I have my own clan and I am always trying to keep it fun for my members, from activities on the site to giving them incentive to play COD as a team..

Though there are alot of clans that just come along and have nothing to back them, which in my opinion is a waste of time. There are alot of people who play COD and if they want to be in a clan, they should look into the clans that fit what they are looking for with active founders and clanmembers.

Best not to join a formal clan, instead, play with some friends and form a quasi-clan structure, you just play together and have lots of fun.

Most people have lives outside of COD4 but you've gotta make sure you join a clan with the same sort of time zone as you. If you join a clan in a different country, then the time difference might be huge and you might not even end up seeing your clan online when you are, not to mention the horrible lag from playing with people from far away.

Do some research on the clan first, ask questions, find out how long the clan has been going and how many members they have etc.

i know what you mean i see clans starting up on here almost everyday and most dont last longer than a week theres a select few that last, even RFA has collapsed theres only like sick and TW left and TW are to serious my clan has been around since christmas and i take that as a achivement i have about 35 members aswell and we play private matches for fun but pointless clans are pointless to say the least lol. but i keep going strong and have a life but proud of my clan you may have seen us about in harcore s & d or team tactical well all game types ill keep my eye out for your clans and hit you up some time
