i do like this game but it is just a mod for cod4: everthing is the same in essence. the main difference would be that you get a tank perk.

over all i think this game is a waste of money, i wont buy it unless i need the gamer score

I like it and am glad they copied everything from an already great game.

Also the level Castle is definately my favourite of the 3 in the beta.

I would not say this is an add on at all. I am loving it. It's a great game, little laggy but that can be understood, but overall a ton of fun, Great graphics too.

Like babygetoboy said, is a great game. I love that I can run at you with a Trench Gun and amputate your arm for you.

I'm still Irked about using the Sprinfield or the Ariskana without a scope and not being able to 1 hit kill people unless I shoot them in the shoulders or above. I really wan't them to tweak that some, with stopping power on, it will usually take 2 shots to drop somebody, if you miss the first one, hope you get a headshot on the second one, by the third one, they either are using a semi auto rifle or a Thompson and you're gonna die. I give props to others that are going to use bolt action rifles mostly because besides the shotgunners, we are going to have a hell of a hard time out there.

Oh yeah, to win a Free For All you need 150 points, Kills don't matter really because some people get 151, 154, you catch my drift. Killing dogs gets you 2 points, so at least you'll get something.

Does anyone know how many maps are in the final game? The 3 in the beta are ok (with castle being the best) but I sure hope they aren't the best maps in the game.

Can someone please tell me why I get 6 or 8 points for an assist, what determines how many points I get?

ok played cod5 beta last night 1st impressions 50/50 neither loved it or hated it. found the 3 maps to be a bit of a rabbit warren and a bit to much going on for my liking ie rubbish bins, barrels, random sand bags etc, probably because i was not used to them found i was getting shot for fun 1st game was like 4 kills 18 deaths, also i found the graphics not to be as sharp as cod 4 and a bit to dark in places hard to see. the guns a bit naff again because im not used to them, i did not like using the iron sights on certain weapons ie the heavy gun hope you can get a red dot sight later cos my eye sight is not the best ( thats my personal preferance makes for a more enjoyable game ) dogs to be annoying whats the point?? could they have come up with something better ??? all in all tho i feel we have really been spoilt with cod 4 its a massive game to live up to BUT the more you play cod5 the more upgrades you aquire etc etc etc so its got potental have to just keep playing

I foresee that one of the biggest problems with online play is that people with Juggernaut will have way too much power when they equip a Thopmson with an Aperture sight(think RDS but with crosshairs). First of all, they have a Thompson which might as well be an M16, second of all they have Juggernaut which you'll have to spend a while shooting them before they drop. I cannot stress enough that people using Bolt Actions are at a serious disadvantage, I hope that when Double Tap or Sleight of Hand is unlocked, it speeds up ejecting the cartridge because you spend at least 1 sec doing that, and thats 1 sec that you need on that guy with a BAR. Trust me, play through a few matches with the Springfield, no scope equipped, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about-Head or nothing.

Also, I give Trearch props on the gunshots in the distance, when somebody is spraying that BAR, you KNOW its a BAR, and you can gague (I cant spell xD) about how far it is away. You only hear random gunshots when people shoot, so I like that a lot more, people across the map can hear the distinct resonance of a Springfield, it sounds OH so satisfying. =)
