Vietnam is a war I'd really enjoy. There aren't that many games out there like that, so it would be enjoyable!

How was the Korean War boring? You have the Battle of Chosin Reservoir, where 30,000 US Marines were surrounded by 120,000 Chinese and defended their area and then later broke out of the 6 Chinese divisions, inflicting almost 30,000 casualties on them. You have the landing at Inchon, the Battle of Seoul, Pusan, and dozens of other intense, critical battles that no one knows about for some reason. A COD or and FPS for that matter set in Korea would be fantastic.

Both wars are a great idea!

what about alternate history? realistic though

CoD will not resemble either war in it's scope so why does it matter if it resembles what ACTUALLY happened in the war. What's more important is the setting and weapons etc

If CoD played like Korea with massive battles your Xbox would explode with strain

If CoD played like Vietnam you wouldn't every get in firefights and be killed by booby-trapped spike pits and campers

Wars that would be interesting, even though the gameplay may not turn out great would be: Civil War, World War 1, Vietnam, Korea,and Futuristic. But, I have been talking with Infinity Ward, and Call of duty "6" will be called Call of duty: Gang Wars. It will feature interactive Drive-by shooting, Holding your pistol sideways, and Drug use...... Its gonna be great! only kidding.... or am I?

id like to see an alternate near-future as the next setting ie only another 20 years after modern warfare, i hate uber-futureistic weapons ie halo UT! perhaps a modern american civil war or european vs asian stand-off.

Alternately id like to see them do like a series of flashbacks/forwards following a number of members of the same family who fought in each of the modern wars ie greatgrandfather in WW1/2 , grandfather in Korea/Nam father in Gulf, son in Iraq/Afganistan. woul kick ass loads of weapon changes etc
