i said somewhere on somewhere on cod4boards that it would be cool to have a crysis/cod4 thing where the best of both worlds are brought in (no hannah montana jokes please)
no nanosuits but big maps, cool weapslike the SCAR and missile launchers and stuff (way better than rpg....) lolz
yah
thats my 12 cents for this thread

i would like to have a futuristic one, but not too future. they would take the guns from the show 'Future Weapons'. that'd be sick. or they should make it the iraq war. lol

I think they should make a futuristic Call of Duty RTS after they make a futuristic Call of Duty and call it "Call of Duty Wars"

Vietnam is in South East Asia.

I think 'Modern Warfare' has a lot of scope. It's generally hard for American's to do this, but think of the wider world and the troubles they have right now. It's not just the middle east. Maybe war torn Africa. But then again that's a bit of a political hot potato. Or maybe the Balkan states in the late 90's. Maybe something set in former soviet states in the early 90's. If IW go done the special ops route as with COD4 then they could set it anywhere, anytime.

LoL the civil war would be a hard game to make into a fun FPS. I think the civil war should probably be best left to RTS developers. Nothing like using modern technology of the times with old revolutionary war style fighting tactics. If the civil war was fought like a conventional war of today the North most likely would have whooped the south a whole lot faster.

Why? It's not like you have anything to really play for. you're not going to win Vietnam or anything and just to get pulled out at the end would suck.
