cod4 was set in 2011, it wont be halo status, it'll probably be like 2042 or something, not a million years in the future on other planets.

What im hoping for is:


Like year 2030-2040
COD4 gameplay (plus lots of extra weapons+customisation)
Crysis graphics/feel
battlefield/COD* huge armies
Frontlines style maps (huge maps)

The only problem with huge maps is that games will take a long time to get done. If anyone has played the map Avalanche in halo 3, you know what I am talking about. Rumors have surfaced that vehicles will be making an appearance in the next COD and if thats the case then huge maps will be awesome.

Wars that never happened would be horrible. Stay at WWII, Vietnam, or Irag

I would love to see a Vietnam type of setting with today's weapons. What would be so bad with having the Vietnam war with modern warfare weapons. It would be a hybrid and it would be pretty cool.

Wars in the jungle would be a lot of fun. Instead of clearing every building all the time

yeah you clear tunnels or forts. The cammo in the game would be sick and not to mention how hard it would be too see the enemy.

I wouldn't mind playing a futuristic type game as long as IW is making it. I have loved every single game they have ever made so far.

I would like it to be futuristic but not Halo futuristic. Overpowering whatever weapons you get to use will just kill the whole game
