This has always been big on the wishlist for COD5, and when looking at the COD5 ign page I noticed this:

Multiplayer Functions

* Offline Co-Op Multiplayer (2 players)
* Online Versus Multiplayer (4 players)
* Online Multiplayer

Does this confirm it, if IGN got these facts from somewhere?

I dont think that says that it is spilt screen compatable during online play. I have been wishing for this for soo lond and if they dont give it me, I am going to be pissed. It worked for Halo 3 and Gears of War and surely, it would work for Call Of Duty.

^That is basically confirming that there will be split-screen. Unless there is only 2v2 in online play.
