I think any idea of anything futuristic like Halo or related games would kill the nature and fans of the CoD series. They have been going on realistic scenarios and weapons, not some stupid "pew, pew!" laser.

Rather I think they should involve CoD6 as something like either the Korean War or Vietnam. You know, breaking the regular cycle, without going too far.

Eh i think it would be cool to have a futuristic game. It would allow them to use their imagination for weapons and vehicles. I think it would be cool

I don't want a furturistic game either I think they should just tweak COD4 a little bit and they could have another "Game of the Year". More guns and pearks would be nice.

i do not want a halo 3 clone for cod6, basically cus halo 3 sucks but thats just my opinion.
like a lot of people have said, just tweak cod4, more guns, more perks, more ranks, more challenges and a longer single player campaign with 4 player co-op, now that would be sheezy.

I don't know. Sometimes they get too imaginative with video games, like the Halo series. As you guys said, they should just tweak it not clone it.

from what ive heard cod6 will be modern which is kool but my guess is that cod7 will be futuristic which is pretty cool.

The thing with Halo is that it's futuristic, but it's not completely out there. The science behind the storyline is true for many parts (and being a fictional game, there are fake stuff). Bungie may not have executed Halo 3 well, but it's general storyline is still very good for a shooter.

I can't see IW pull off a one-shot story COD6 with a futuristic background, though.

If I wanted to play a futuristic style game that had real people in it, I would go play Ghost Recon, god I hate saying that but its the truth. IW needs to stick with what got them the game of the year and that is Modern Warfare. Maybe Modern Warfare in the jungle or Siberia. A jungle map for online play would be insane and not to mention a snow covered map.
