Having a Futuristic would ruin it altogether. Simply for guns. Imagine, Xbox Live or PS3, you are online playing Search. You shoot round a corner for the bullet to bounce about. It doesn't hit any-one but it rebounds of a wall and hits you.

COME ON PEOPLE WISE UP!

It's not as if IW legislate for every eventuality with regards to their weapons, if they did half of our time online would be spent trying to unjam weapons

I personally don't think they would take it too far to the Halo extreme, but maybe like Tom Clancy games... always like 5 years ahead which gives them headroom to experiment with various weapon types that either haven't been created yet or are in prototype form.

Lol very true, although not alot of people know that as you have to do the math to even discover it.

When you do the Chernobyl mission it says '15 years earlier' and during the cut scene, Price said "even 10 years later they were getting their hands on nuclear material", the incident happened in 1986. 10 years later would be 1996 (where the mission took place), 15 years later will be in 2011.

So really, we are playing 'Future Warfare' right now except most people don't know it.

I agree and I want a Vietnam game so bad. I wish they would make a game on that war.

Futuristic is dumb, and I wouldn't buy it if they made one.
