Here is mine, took me an age to do it as i am still learning the basics of Photoshop. Tried to copy the feel lay out of the COD4 title...

I like the text, what font did you use? Also, the scanlines are a bit heavy, try reducing the opacity. And try and get a better stock image and keep it in proportion, it looks a little pixalated.

Great for someone learning though!! Well done!!

Both Fonts are Impact, opacity is at 32% any lower and i started to loose the 2 tone scan lines effect.

Picture isnt pixelated i ran the scan lines over that too due to it looked too crisp, the picture is one i took using COD4player but i will be changing to a SAS person when i can find the right location for a nice snapshot to be more Patriotic...

Ok nice, try selecting the scanline layer and erasing over the subject (in this case the soldier) this will allow the soldier to stand out, also, try using a gradient map of purple/orange and set to Soft Light, this will improve the colouring contrast. Maybe new layer, apply image and Filter > Sharpen > Sharpen to crispen the edges of the subject?
